Madagascar has had lots of trouble in its government over the years. One of Madagascar’s recent rulers was not allowed back into the country three years ago when the army helped another take over.

He had been visiting South Africa at the time and has had to live here ever since.

This weekend he decided to go home.

While the plane taking him back to Madagascar was in the air, it was refused permission to land and returned to South Africa.
